What Nightmares Are Made Of

WWW
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:32:22 PM »

I had posted this on Facebook but, I don't think many saw it as no one replied.

Last week I received a letter from Alyce Walker, the owner of Spring Hill Cemetery asking me to please spread the word on the internet that she is asking people to stay off her property at night.
Seems the African American Cemetery Society, as her letterhead read, is making some changes to secure the cemetery. There is still much more to be done but, she is begging ghost hunters and thrill seekers to please, stay away from the graveyard at night.

Of course, any self respecting ghost hunter and team would ask permission to go there but, it seems that most just feel they can go whenever they wish.
To those people, you must know that the owner is not playing around anymore. She plans to have trespassers prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!

So, if you or anyone you know gets a wild hair to go hunting the paranormal in Spring Hill Cemetery, you will not only find ghosts but cops on your ass and cuffs on your wrists!

You've been warned. I have done what Ms. Walker asked of me and I wish her the best for herself and her land.

It's all good till night-time, I have gotten some of my best stuff at dusk. I think as long as we leave by dark it is fine.

Hopefully, people will listen and not learn the hard way.  I would love to see some efforts made to help clean up the cemetery.  Maybe that would help some the restless spirits to, well, rest in peace.

They do an annual clean up - that I do know.  I see it in the paper every year.  Unfortuntely its always when I can't help.
There was a couple of kids that were there recently that stole a skull from a grave.  They had to spend so many hours cleaning the place up.
Would love to be able to find a way to help out the cemetery, and get a little hunting in at the same time.

It is easier to try, than to prove it can't be done.
