I was fortunatel enough to be invited to go along with Al's (former LSPIR member) and his group, CAPE, to privately investigate the Castillo de San Marcos on Nov 14.  WOW!! what an awesome experience!!   I didn't see anything and I am still going over audio but what an amazing experience, if for nothing else to just be surrounded by the incredible history.  I will be sure to tell  you if I find anything interesting on my audio.

I loved St. Aughostine  rofl as a whole when I visted in July.  I can't wait to get back there one day and stay in one of the haunted Bed and Breakfasts! I got a interesting 'matrixing?' shot in a photo.  I'll look for it and post it here soon.

Al and Wanda are doing well. Had a great time working with their team, CAPE.  Caught a couple of interesting audio clips. Since it was evidence obtained while investigating with CAPE I will ask for permission to share.

Glad to hear they are doing well. My brother no longer works in the same office with Wanda so he didn't know when I asked him a couple of days ago.

John, I actually went on the tour with the guide (pirate) that talked on the Ghost Adventures eppy. Now let's see if I can find that photo and if I can remember how to post a photo here  giggle. Amy and Beth saw it awhile ago but I had to point out to them what I was seeing....

I think its supposed to be the oldest city in the U.S.?  There was some battling going on with the Native Americans, townsfolk, and pirate in the fort area.  I don't remember all the particulars right off (I went back in July), but I do have, 'Ghosts of St. Augustine' by Dave Lapham if anyone wants to borrow it.

The Castillo was a Spanish structure that served to fight off the advances of the British when they began taking control of the 'new' world.

It's hard to go there an not feel or experience something.  LOL

Glad your had a good time!

I saw that episode! That was the one where they supposedly caught the bed getting messed up and they never showed the footage even though they had a camera aimed directly at the bed!  eyebrow
Yup, that was when I posted on Facebook how disappointed in Zak I was.  tuttut

Still, Melissa, you are so lucky to have gone!

I'm hanging in there, Robyn!  LOL  Thank you for asking.  How are things down your way?  Hope yours was a nice T-Day.

Growing up, my family visited over there, often.  The folks lived in St. Aug, when the first child was born.  Though they moved away, we still went back there, frequently.  We went to the fort quite a bit, but, it wasn't until I was older that I realised there might be spirits.

We were fearless as children and ran all over that place, slipping through tiny openings and up on top of places that I don't think we were supposed to be on.  Things were different back then, too.  They weren't as 'strict', but, I understand that.  It was people like us kids that warranted them becoming that way, I'm sure.   blush

It's good to see/read you folks, again!
